Power Cut-Off Switches

A power cut-off (or "kill") switch allows you to shut down electrical circuits — typically in a bedroom or sleeping area — to eliminate electric fields and dirty electricity during sleep, without needing to trip breakers at the panel each night.

We can special-order a cut-off switch tailored to your specific needs — whether that's a certain number of circuits, or a configuration suited to your home's wiring. Email us at help@electrahealth.com with some details about what you're looking for (how many circuits you need to shut off, how many independent zones you need, do you need whole house dirty electricity filtration included, and how your breaker panel is mounted (flush mounted, surface mounted and if its outside), and we'll put together a custom quote for you.

One important note: figuring out exactly which circuits need to be cut off to get the benefit you're after isn't always straightforward. It's not simply a matter of shutting off "the bedroom circuit" — other circuits in the home can also contribute to electric fields and dirty electricity in a room, even if they don't power anything in that room directly. We'd strongly recommend having a Building Biologist or EMF professional help you determine the right circuits for your situation. If you don't have one, we're happy to help refer you to someone in your area. Email us your zip code and best phone contact, and we'll get you connected!
