eShield Extension Cords

Standard extension cords give off electric fields along their entire length, often right where they run past your bed, desk, or sofa. Our shielded extension cords have a grounded foil layer surrounding the wires, which blocks those electric fields so you can extend power without adding to your exposure.

We chose a clean powder white finish so the cords blend in with the white outlets and faceplates found in most homes. Available in 10, 15, and 20 foot lengths.

Does the extension cord shield the cords I plug into it?
No. The shielding covers only the extension cord itself. A regular, unshielded cord plugged into it will still give off electric fields. For full coverage, pair it with our shielded power cords for your lamps and devices.
